Agilent Bioanalyzer electropherograms display RNA obtained from tissue sections processed for EFIC imaging. The presence of 28S, 18S and 5S rRNA peaks indicated good RNA integrity from formalin fixed-frozen, formalin fixed-PEG, and unfixed frozen embedded specimen. In contrast, RNA profile from the formalin fixed-paraffin embedded samples indicate severe RNA degradation.
